Brian Goldberg
Brian has more than 20 years of experience as a C-level executive, board member, advisor and investor guiding companies through high growth, M&A, IPOs, and financing transactions leading to successful exits. He has deep expertise in consumer products and packaged goods as well as start-ups, private equity backed companies, and founder-owned businesses. During his time at Amplify Snack Brands he led multiple acquisitions as well the successful IPO of the company in 2015, and a successful sale to The Hershey Company in 2018. He also helped lead Sweet Leaf Tea through a period of significant growth and a successful sale to Nestle Waters North America in 2011. Earlier in his career he worked at the private equity firm New Capital Partners, Pfizer, and Ernst & Young, including as an expatriate in France, Switzerland, and Ireland. Brian holds a BSM in Business from Tulane University, an MA in Accounting from The University of Georgia, and an MBA from The University of Virginia. He is also a board member of Naturally Austin and the Austin chapter of JDRF, and is on the Business School Council of the AB Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. He is also a major contributor to Friends of Austin City Limits.
