Randy Finch is a co-founder and Managing Director of CapStream Group. He advises businesses in a range of industries including energy, manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, distribution and technology. Prior to founding CapStream, Randy served as a partner and managing director of Westlake Securities for over 10 years. He sold his Westlake interest in 2017 and formed CapStream as a modern, low-overhead approach to investment banking. Randy was a founder, owner and Chief Financial Officer of GX Technology Corporation, the leading 3-D subsurface imaging company serving the energy industry. Under his leadership, GXT developed an array of innovative technologies that helped to reduce greatly the risk and cost of finding and producing oil and gas. In 2004, he sold the Company to a NYSE listed company for $150 million. Prior to GXT, Randy was a senior manager at Deloitte, where he served clients in a variety of industries including energy, technology, banking, securities and retail. Randy holds a BBA degree in Accounting with a concentration in Finance from The University of Texas, and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas. He serves on the Advisory Council of The University of Texas School of Information.
Ben is a co-founder and Managing Director of CapStream Group. He has founded and sold companies in numerous industries. He converts ideas/technologies into fundable startups and profitable growth companies, typically serving a founding strategic and Board role. In such role, he has developed contacts across the capital spectrum, from family offices to private equity funds, private credit to traditional lenders. In 1995, he co-founded LandTel Communications LLC, which grew into the market-share leader in satellite communications for drilling platforms and went 13 consecutive years without an unprofitable month, through its 2008 sale to RigNet. In 1997, Davis co-founded Aquatica, Inc., a commercial diving/pipeline inspection firm, exiting via sale in 1999 to Cal Dive International. In 2002, Davis co-founded Sea Fluids LLC, which remains the leading methanol terminal services company for U.S. GOM oil & gas operations. In 2010, Davis co-founded Petros Partners LLC, which finances clean energy bonds, structures rated instruments for insurance companies, and provides mezzanine capital to growth companies. In 2018, Davis sold his founding interest in Petros PACE Finance to the AROD Corporation, remaining as a passive owner in select Petros funds. In 2012, he co-founded EnerSciences Holdings, which provided a valuable mid-career reminder of the necessity for capital structure that matches growth needs and quick pivots around market changes. In 2017, he co-founded Companos Resources, LLC and Lighthouse Harvest, LLC, the former a timber-derived biomaterials company, the latter a permanent crops platform. Ben is a Baylor University honors graduate, with B.B.A., M.S.Economics, and J.D. degrees. He currently serves on Baylor's Leadership Council and Hankamer School of Business Advisory Board, and as 2017-2019 General Chairman of the PGA's Dell Technologies Match Play event at Austin Country Club. He was a Managing Director at Westlake Securities from 2007 to 2017, when he sold his interest and formed CapStream as a modern model for advisory services.
Jane Mooney is a Managing Director of CapStream Group. She consults and advises businesses across a range of industries including consumer goods, retail, healthcare, chemical, and financial technology. Jane joins CapStream Group with investment banking, operating, and family-owned business experience. She is an executive at Elm Street Advisors, an advisory and transformational consulting firm to small and medium sized public and private companies. She also holds a Board Observer position at SACHEM, a private chemical science company. Prior to joining CapStream, Jane spent several years as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs’ New York Office in their Consumer, Retail and Healthcare group. She has also served as Head of Business Development at Axial, a leading deal network for the lower middle market, and has held various corporate finance positions at both Cleveland Golf/Srixon and WME|IMG. Jane received a B.A., cum laude, with a joint major in Mathematics and Economics from Boston University and an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
Fleur Robinson serves as Director of Business Development at Capstream Group. She brings 20 years of experience in business operations, advisory and investment banking. Prior to joining Capstream, Fleur served for more than six years at Westlake Securities in Austin, Texas, where she ran capital markets investor conferences and participated in investment banking deals valued at over $150 million. Prior to joining Westlake, Fleur founded and operated a successful public relations business consultancy in New Zealand for 10 years. A former journalist, Fleur earned her B.A. in English at the University of Canterbury.
